Change articulation IDs dynamically using modulation routing
In the EXS24 mkII sampler, you can route a modulation source, such as a MIDI controller, to a destination parameter for the selected software instrument. By choosing Articulation ID as the destination parameter, you can dynamically change articulations using the source MIDI controller.
An advantage of using modulation routing to change articulation IDs is that the range of values for the controller is limited to the used articulation ID values (the values actually associated with an articulation).
Create a modulation routing to dynamically change articulation IDs
In the modulation router, choose the controller you want to use from the Source (Src) pop-up menu.
Choose Articulation ID from the Destination (Dest) pop-up menu.
Drag the intensity slider all the way to the top, so it is set to 100%.
When you manipulate the controller, the articulation ID changes through the range of used values.
