Quantize the pitch of notes in the Piano Roll Editor

You can quantize the pitch of notes in MIDI regions to a particular scale or key. This is especially useful when you want to reuse a repeating pattern of notes, but transpose them to a different key.

Quantize the pitch of notes in a MIDI region

  1. Select the notes you want to quantize.

  2. Choose the scale and key from the Scale Quantize pop-up menus.
